These plain-language terms describe the boundaries DraftAtlas is being built around. They are a pre-release draft scheduled for attorney review before commercial launch.
You retain control of the projects and original material you create in DraftAtlas. You are responsible for having the rights or permission needed to import, reproduce, analyze, modify, export, transmit, or share source material and resulting work.
DraftAtlas does not determine copyright ownership, fair use, academic compliance, or publication clearance. Its findings are organizational and editorial assistance, not legal advice.
Do not use DraftAtlas to infringe rights, distribute material without authorization, circumvent DRM or access controls, scrape restricted services, or misrepresent another person's work as your own.
Local AI can keep processing on the author's computer. Optional cloud providers receive only the context an author deliberately submits, under that provider's terms, privacy, retention, and training policies.
Follow applicable school, employer, publisher, and professional rules for attribution, quotation, permissions, AI disclosure, and independent authorship.
